Rapid Pro by Rotring
This pen is a surprisingly affordable sweet-spot between pretentious luxury good and disposable plastic garbage. It is the perfectly optimized archetype of a click-action ballpoint pen with a solid body made from metal and a no-frills Bauhaus design. I prefer the Rapid Pro over its smaller (but older) sibling the Rotring 600. With its thicker body, it fits my hands better for most of the writing/sketching I do. The 600 comes in a variety of colors and works perfectly as a colored ink addition though. Use it with a Schneider 755 M refill, and it’ll be the highest quality, and smoothes pen out there.
